Marriage Contract Review Ep 1 - 10

Marriage Contract is a weekend Korean drama played by Uee and Lee Seo Jin. The story goes around with UEE played the role of Kang Hye Soo, a single mom with her cute daughther Eun Sung and Lee Seo Jin as Han Ji Hoon, a wealthy chaebol brat who thinks that money can solve anything.

I don't really find it interesting at first because Lee Seo Jin is old enough, he is 45 and I don't find him as a good-looking oppa, but I was curious enough as how Uee will potray her character and whether she is able to create a good chemistry with Lee Seo Jin who is older than her by 18 years.

Yes, I end up getting hooked by this drama and I find it quite interesting as I was waiting for Descendant of The Sun to air, this drama will be one of my solutions for a week of waiting. Besides, I find Lee Seo Jin quite nice to see in this drama, seeing how his true pesonality as Han Ji Hoon to warm up after meeting Kang Hye Soo.

Han Ji Hoon is raised by his stepmother since his birthmother abandonded him many years ago. Yet, he is still dutiful to his birthmother, even though he is not showing how much he loves her by defending her against the harsh words of his stepmother. When his birthmother suffers a liver cancer and needs a liver transplant, he looks for someone who is willing to marry him and give her liver for an organ transplant. And the woman itself is Kang Hye Soo.

Kang Hye Soo is in debts after her late husband died. No matter how long and how hardworking she is to work and pay back all the debts, the debts still remain the same amount. Thus, she decided to accept the offer with a deal that Ji Hoon should give her the amount that will support Eun Sung until she reaches adulthood and self-reliant.

At first it was hard both for Kang Hye Soo and Han Ji Hoon to get to know each other. Kang Hye Soo needs to memorize every little bit of her changed background. But as time goes by, Ji Hoon learns the true meaning of a family, he learns to open his heart and suddenly cares for Hye Soo more than what he thinks. When he was asked what is the good thing about her, he can only say, there is no reason for liking someone. He just likes her simply and ready to throws away everything he has.

But Hye Soo who knows the truth rejects him, saying she never imagine or think Ji Hoo as a man whom she can has a relationship with. Behind, she is very sad, asking what does she do so wrong till life is so unfair to her. She also wonders whether one day she will have a brigther life.

I was really touched by Uee's acting and Lee Seo Jin cuteness overload. The drama shows me a little change of Han Ji Hoon, who is cold outside but very warm inside. He is way cuter when he said he missed Hye Soo so much, though he is an Ahjussi now.

I guess, u may want to check this drama because I recommend this since on ep 9 and 10 I was crying hard in every scene, for the feeling of being hurt and full of hopes yet reality says the opposite.
