Kang Ha Neul’s agency has spoken up about dating rumors involving IU that arose after the actor met up with her ahead of his enlistment.
On September 10, a source from his agency firmly denied any romantic involvement, saying, “It’s true that he met up with IU, but they are not dating. They are just close friends, ever since they worked together on [‘Scarlet Heart: Goryeo’].”
Prior to this statement, it was reported that Kang Ha Neul and IU were spotted at a cafe together on September 10, just one day before his enlistment. One news outlet had claimed that they were wearing “couple-like” coordinated outfits, and reported about how he was spending his last day as a civilian with the singer.
Meanwhile, Kang Ha Neul will be enlisting on September 11 in order to fulfill his mandatory military requirement. Even though they did not end up together in Scarlet Heart: Ryeo, but if the rumor is true, I would be very happy! Indeed happier than her previous boyfriend scandal LOL.
