Three Lives Three Worlds: Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, tells a romance story of deities of classic Chinese legend which mainly affected by Buddhism & Taoism. The main story is between the Princess of Qing Qiu the Fox Clan, Bai Qian (played by Yang Mi) and the Crown Prince of Heavenly Tribe, Ye Hua (played by Mark Chao). Bai Qian is actually 90,000 years older than Ye Hua. When Bai Qian is still young, she was brought to the Kunlun Mountain by Zhe Yan, the Old Phoenix God created by the Heavenly Father who has a good relationship with the Fox Clan to study and learn martial arts from God of War, Mo Yuan (also played by Mark Chao), who's also the eldest son of the Heavenly Father. Mo Yuan never took a female disciple, thus, Zhe Yan used his magic to transform Bai Qian as a male and let her luck brings her to where she should be.
Mo Yuan accepted Bai Qian, whose her identity of a male is Si Yin as his 17th disciple, knowing that his disciple this time is a woman. During Si Yin's time in Kunlun Mountain, she met with the Second Prince of Ghost Tribe, Li Jing, who realized that he's actually a woman from Celestial Tribe (his assumption). He then fell in love with her, promising her that she is the only one he loves. Si Yin, who's a bit reluctant at first finally opens up her heart and they share the same mutual affection. However, Si Yin's relative, Xuan Nu, who run away from Qing Qiu to avoid her marriage came to Kunlun Mountain and fell in love with Li Jing. Knowing that Li Jing is interested with Si Yin, Xuan Nu changed her face to be Si Yin and made Li Jing fell for her. She told Li Jing that Mo Yuan is the one that Si Yin adores and thus Li Jing betrayed Si Yin. It was then Si Yin knew the fact and suffered heartbreak which lead her to face the heavenly trial to become high immortal. Her first heavenly trial is to face three holy lightning, but knowing that Si Yin is a female, Mo Yuan took the heavenly trial on behalf of her instead, making Si Yin even more adore her Master.
The Ghost Tribe King, Qing Cang, has planned to rebel since he had the Bell of East Emperor , which led the Heavenly Lord to ask Mo Yuan for help. The Bell of East Emperor was created by Mo Yuan, a magical artifact which can destroy all realms. Mo Yuan agreed to face this war to bring peace to the world. But in the end, Mo Yuan's soul scattered after sealing Qing Cang on the Bell of East Emperor by using his spirit. Si Yin who couldn't bear Mo Yuan's death took his body to be preserved by her blood, believing that Mo Yuan would return one day. That process almost took Si Yin's life, but later she was saved by Zhe Yan and her Fox Queen Mother. Si Yin comes back as Bai Qian, and never returns to Kunlun Mountain.
At that time of Mo Yuan's soul scattered, the Golden Lotus who was given to Mo Yuan from the Heavenly Father to be protected by Mo Yuan's spirit withered and when Consort Le Xu of the Celestian Tribe came to the Kunlun Mountain to find solution so that she could get pregnant, the Golden Lotus blooms after being touched by her. Thus, allowing her to suddenly got pregnant. Several days later (which also sounds magical to the Heavenly Lord), Consort Le Xu gave a birth to a Crown Prince whose name is Ye Hua.
70.000 years later, Ye Hua whose face was like Mo Yuan, saw that his Second Uncle broke the engagement with Bai Qian of Qing Qiu, instead choose over Bai Qian's maid to be his wife. The Heavenly Lord was very angry and would like to setenced them to death. But Ye Hua's Third Uncle plead for mercy and suggested that Bai Qian of Qing Qiu & Second Prince had never met with each other, so wouldn't it better this way and offered to compensate Qing Qiu with an engagement with another person. Third Uncle suggested Ye Hua to take over the position and be engaged with Bai Qian of Qing Qiu and Ye Hua accepted the decree. Eventually sent Ye Hua's second uncle as the Water King for betraying his position over a woman.
Bai Qian on the other hand also refused the engagement so that she would never agree to meet with the Prince. Besides, she has something important to do, to reseal the Bell of East Emperor. This bell will reopen every 70,000 years and as she is the only person who knows how to seal the Bell of East Emperor after Mo Yuan, she went to fight with Qing Cang to reseal him.
During that fight, she was hurt by Qing Cang, but successfully re-seal the bell. Bai Qian thus was sent to the Mortal realm to experience and suffer the hard life with her identity sealed by Qing Cang. When she awaked later on, she found herself in the middle of mountain called Mount Junji and found an old hut to live on. She doesn't even know who she was and she's now a mortal.
Ye Hua, on the other hand, was sent to Mortal Realm, Mount Junji to catch the Golden Lion Tiger from Ghost Realm. On his mission, he transformed into a black dragon and was hurt after the fight. Bai Qian mistook him as a snake and brought him to give him medicine and food to eat. Ye Hua who still in his dragon state, also taken into bed next to Bai Qian and he then started to fall in love with her for being so kind-hearted. After going back to the Celestial Palace, Ye Hua asked his third Uncle, how to make the mortal girl fell in love with him. His Uncle suggested Ye Hua to pretend being hurt so that the mortal girl could take him in and reminded him to make a barrier so that the Celestial would not notice him with the mortal girl & not to take things seriously because they are both from different world.
Ye Hua pretended to got hurt while trying to save his life from the beast. Bai Qian took care of him and gave him place to live. Ye Hua was very happy to be able to spend the days with her and gave her the name of Su Su because she always wears plain clothing which really suit with her. After being together for several months, Su Su told Ye Hua that he could leave anytime since he's now healthy, but Ye Hua refused, saying since she saved him, he should repay her kindness. Su Su hesitated at first, but then she proposed Ye Hua to stay next to her for the rest of his life. It's because she's alone without family and it's really lonely for her not to be able to talk to anyone. If Ye Hua agreed to marry her, that would be good.
Surprisingly, Ye Hua agreed and they got married traditionally like how mortal people do. During their marriage life, they were so happy. Ye Hua knew that Su Su can't cook really well and offerred himself to cook for her. There was a time where Su Su burnt the hut because of her cooking skill and Ye Hua used his magic to return the hut to its original condition, which made Su Su suspects her for being a beast. Ye Hua then asked her, what if he's really a beast? Su Su then assured him, because she has swore to Heaven & Earth that she will love him unconditionally, she will not leave him for whatever he truly is. But Su Su draws a clear line between love & hate. She made Ye Hua promised her that he wouldn't betray her no matter what. If that happened, Su Su will leave Ye Hua and their promises became null. Ye Hua agreed but still worried because he didn't want the same tragedy happen to Su Su like his Second Uncle & his mistress.
One day, the Heavenly Lord in the Celestial Palace was looking for Ye Hua and Ye Hua then was forced to come back to accompany Su Jin, the woman from the Su Clan who is in love with Ye Hua, to pay respect to her Clan who died during the 70,000 war. It took him a day to finish the task, but it took him a year based on mortal realm. When he came back, Su Su was very worried and told him that he has disappeared suddenly and just came back after a year to which it's difficult for Ye Hua to explain the whole situation to her. Ye Hua then told her that he had things to take care of. But Su Su suspected that maybe Ye Hua's family do not approve of his marriage, or maybe Ye Hua has another wife. But Ye Hua assured her that he has never been married before and it's only her that he loves. But, Ye Hua told her that he had to go again for about a year and promised her to come back soon. He then gave her a copper mirror which can connect her to him directly. Ye Hua told her if she needed him anytime, she could talk through the copper mirror. After another six month, Ye Hua suddenly came back. Su Su was worried that she would never hear Ye Hua's news again and to Su Su's surprise, Ye Hua told her that he has to go for 2 up to 3 years to take care of things. Actually, Ye Hua was instructed by the Heavenly Lord for another mission, to fight for the Mermaid Clan who's about to rebel. Ye Hua promised her that this is the last trip he would go before living a happy life together with her. Su Su refused to sit back and asked Ye Hua to bring her with him. Ye Hua decided to bring her to the West Sea.
There, Ye Hua hide his identity as a mortal and met with Si Yin's senior of the Kunlun Mountain, Die Feng, who's also the Second Prince of the West Sea. Die Feng informed Ye Hua about the rebel of Mermaid Clan and offered himself to assist Ye Hua in the war with the Mermaid Clan. During this time, it was revealed that Su Su is pregnant with Ye Hua's child. Ye Hua was very happy yet nervous, because he had to sent Su Su back to the hut and told her not to go outside of the mountain until he comes back. Su Su agreed. Ye Hua then planned to go on war with the Mermaid Clan and to pretend to be dead, so that he could live a normal life with Su Su. But his planned failed, as he was hurt by the King of Mermaid Clan. During the battle, Su Su heard through the copper mirror that Ye Hua was hurt. She was so panicked leaving the hut and thus, the Heavenly Lord noticed & brought her to the Celestial Palace.
There, the Heavenly Lord instructed Su Su to be thrown to the execution platform. Su Su noticed that Ye Hua is not a mortal human who's learning to be immortal, instead he's the Crown Prince of the Heaven. Since Su Su was worried about Ye Hua's condition, she didn't care about anything else, and asked for Consort Le Xu, who happened to be there for Ye Hua's condition. Su Su told Consort Le Xu that she's pregnant with Ye Hua's child thus, making Consort Le Xu to plea for Heavenly Lord's mercy since Ye Hua's condition isn't known whether he's alive or death and the only thing Ye Hua left was the child. Heavenly Lord allowed Su Su to stay in the Palace.
Ye Hua then woke up being injured and was informed that Su Su was taken to the Palace. It shocked him, which he drew conclusion that from now onwards, that means, he would never be able to be together with Su Su living a normal life. He would have to save her life first and avoid the same tragedy happen to his Uncle. When Ye Hua was back to the Palace, he rushed to meet Su Su and told her that he wanted Su Su to live there happily and gave birth to a healthy child. He then told her, he has to pretend not to care for her in front of others.
Su Jin was jealous of Ye Hua's love for Su Su. Thus, she pretended to talk to Ye Hua through the copper mirror, so that Su Su could hear her. Su Jin did her acting, saying that Ye Hua named the mortal girl as Su Su, because of his love towards Su Jin, so that there's Su in the Su Su's name and their love was ruined because of Su Su's existence. Su Su was shocked and asked Nai Nai, her maid, the relationship between Su Jin & Ye Hua. It was the told that they were growing up together, which later Su Su drew conclusion that Ye Hua and Su Su are childhood lover, and it was her, the third wheel between them.
One day, Su Jin asked Su Su to walk together with her to the lotus pond. Su Jin then showed Su Su Zhu Xian Terrace, the pond where Su Su could return to her world. Su Jin then told Su Su to leave the Palace because no one is cared about her. Suddenly Ye Hua came and Su Jin pretended to be thrown to the pond by Su Su, losing her eyes. Ye Hua arrived at the moment Su Jin fell and saved her, but then Su Su was saying all the time that it was not her who push Su Jin to the pond. She was innocent, but it's difficult for Heavenly Lord to believe her. Thus, Su Su has to be "punished".
Due to the pressures of the officials, Ye Hua suggested to replace Su Jin's eyes with Su Su and to be punished the 3 years worth of lightning and offered himself to take the lightning on behalf of Su Su, because Su Su is pregnant. To Su Su's horror, Ye Hua took Su Su's eyes, saying that he did that to save her life, even though Ye Hua knew that it was Su Jin who purposely throw herself to the pond.
Su Su woke up and she's now blind. Su Su started to feel uneasy and uncomfortable, while assumed that Ye Hua doesn't love her anymore. She then started to avoid him, even though Ye Hua came to her chamber all the time. Su Su was about to give birth while Ye Hua was doing his lightning punishment. Ye Hua finally arrived a little before the baby is born. He carried the baby to Su Su and asked her to hold him. She didn’t want to and shield away. She told the baby that she will not be at this kingdom much longer.
One day, Su Su told Nai Nai, to name the baby, A-Li, from Li(离) from 分离 (Fen Li) which means separated. Then she slowly walked to Zhu Xian Terrace after Nai Nai brought the little prince to Consort Le Xu's chamber. However, Nainai anxiously carried a crying A-Lii to Ye Hua and his mother. Ye Hua felt uneasy and went to look for Su Su to find that she’s not in her room. Before she jumped, she used the cooper plate to contact Ye Hua one last time. She told Ye Hua that she’s is at Zhu Xian Terrace. She will be heading back to where she came from and for him to let her go. “From this day forward, we will no longer owe each other anything” Ye Hua caught up to her as she jumped and wanted to catch her. But he was too late. He fell down too as she did.
Zhu Xian Terrace indeed sent Su Su back to where she came from, the peach orchard. Because of Bai Qian, the ghost king stirred again. Luckily Dong Hua was there to seal him off again. Ye Hua came out of Zhu Xian Terrace all bloodied, injured, and on the verge of dying. The Heavenly Lord anxiously wanted to save him even without the necessary herb for it. To prevent both from going crazy, 3rd prince knocked him out.
Zhe Yan, who saw the similarity between Su Su and Bai Qian, decided to returned to the heaven kingdom to investigate. Coincidently he got pulled in to help Ye Hua with his injuring. Zhe Yan used his power to heal Ye Hua. He told Ye Hua that he and Mo Yuan have very similar soul. Whether he is Mo Yuan or not he must have the will to wake up and take responsibility for the world. Zhe Yan and Heavenly Lord came out of the room and told everyone that Ye Hua is safe now. However, whether he wakes up or not depends on his will.
Zhe Yan came back to find Bai Qian lying in his peach orchard. He used his power to heal her. When she woke up, Zhe Yan asked her what happened. She heartbrokenly replied that she just went through a heaven trial. She asked him for his medicine that allow people to selectively erase a part of their memory. She wanted to forget all the painful memory she had with Ye Hua. Meanwhile, everyone is regretting their actions toward Su Su. The King did not think that Ye Hua love her that much that he would sacrifice his live for her. Dong Hua suggested that a magical item called Jie Bo Deng (Soul-Gathering Lamp) may help awaken Ye Hua.
Since item belonged to Sujin’s clan and has long been buried along her mom, she personally went to retrieve it. Using Jie Bo Deng, she asked the king again to grant her her wish of becoming Ye Hua’s wife. The Heavenly Lord promised Su Jin as long as Ye Hua is saved. The King asked his 3rd prince if he had been too strict on Ye Hua. The prince told him that he pity Ye Hua who had lived a very lonely life and when he finally found love, this is the result.
Ye Hua finally woke up but without a will to live. His mom asked him to take the medicine that will let him to forget Susu and continue his life as crown prince. He denied. He said he didn’t want to forget her.
On the other hand, Bai Qian's family watched over her as Bai Qian sleep through the effects of the potion. They decided to keep her Su Su life a secret from her. But even though Zhe Yan fixed her eye sight, she will not be able to endure strong lights. Bai Qian woke up and she was anxious that she can’t see too clearly. 4th brother lied and said that she had an eye illness since young and this time her injury brought it out. He gave her a white cloth that will appear in places that are too bright. He also told her that her battle with the Ghost King was the battle that allowed her to level up but in return she was in slumber for the past years.
When Bai Qian realized that she’s been asleep for years, she rushed to see if Mo Yuan’s body is still maintained. Zhe Yan told her that perhaps Mo Yuan will wake soon that’s why he doesn’t need her blood anymore.
On the day of Ye Hua and Sujin’s big wedding, Ye Hua asked Ximing, the Star Lord about Mo Yuan and Si Yin. He suspected that Si Yin wanted to bring Mo Yuan back and wanted to know if there’s a way that he can bring Su Su back. Ximing told him to ask Feng Jiu, the niece of Bai Qian of Qing Qiu.
Within seconds, Ye Hua showed up at Qing Qiu looking for Feng Jiu. While relaying that message, Mi Gu (Bai Qian's maid) also told Bai Qian about her arranged marriage with Ye Hua. She wanted to go out and cancel the wedding. Feng Jiu went out and asked him what Ye Hua what he wanted. He asked her about the whereabout of Si Yin. Feng Jiu told him she doesn’t know. He left right after.
The big wedding. Sujin is all happy about marrying into YeHua’s court. As she was heading to his court, he waited for her outside. She thought that he was welcoming her but instead her stabbed her right it the heart! And then closed the door on her. The King told Ye Hua that no matter what Sujin will have to marry into his court. On his way back, a servant told him that Su Jin have a way to save Su Su. Hearing that there’s a way to save Susu, Ye Hua went to visit Sujin. She told him that she will tell him if he allow her into his court. He agreed. She told him to recreate Su Su, he needs to burn one of her personal item with Jie Po lantern.
He immediately tried that but all he got was peach blossom petals as reminiscence of Su Su.
300 hundred years later, our cute little Ali, the son of Ye Hua and Su Su, finally showed up. His little introduction told us that every year on the day that Ye Hua and Su Su met, him and Ye Hua would go back to Su Su’s house in the mortal world and live for a few months.
Feng Jiu asked Mi Gu what should she get for Bai Qian’s birthday. Mi Gu told her about Jie Po lantern and how it might be able to save Mo Yuan. Feng Jiu snuck into the heaven kingdom and disguised as Sujin to steal the lantern. When Ye Hua heard the news, he immediately rushed into Su Jin’s room and angrily asked her where the lantern is. She cried and said she didn’t do it.
Feng Jiu and Mi Gu set the lantern up next to Mo Yuan’s body. However, before they did anything, they got caught by Bai Qian. When Bai Qian found out that Feng Jiu stole it, she angrily told her to return it. Feng Jiu brought the lantern back and wanted to give it to Ximing. However, Ximing told her that she is in deep trouble since Ye Hua value that lantern more than his life.
To ease Ye Hua’s anger, Ximing asked 3rd prince for help. 3rd prince and Ximing met with Ye Hua and returned the lantern. They asked him to let it go and forgive Feng Jiu. Unwillingly, but he eventually agreed. Once the lantern was lit again, with nothing left burn, Ye Hua wanted to burn his soul to recreate an image of Susu. Luckily the 3rd prince was there to stop him. He convinced him to let go and live on for Ali’s sake.
Back at JunJisan, Ali got lost in the forest. A demon saw him and started attacking him. Luckily an immortal lady was nearby to chase the demon away. Miao Qin, the princess of Dong Hai, saved Ali and brought her back to Ye Hua. She saw Ye Hua and fell for him. She asked if she can stay by his side and serve him. Poor Ali started crying when he told Ye Hua that he doesn’t want Miao Qin to replace his mom. Ye Hua told him that mom is not coming back anymore because the lantern was extinguished.
Feng Jiu came back to Qing Qiu. Bai Qian told her that she will be going to Eastern Sea’s party for a few days to celebrate the birth of the king’s baby. While at the heaven kingdom, a group of oldies were gossiping about the mysterious Bai Qian will finally show her face and how awkward it would be since 2nd prince and her previous maid will also be at the party.
At Eastern Sea, Dong Hai king asked his sister, Miao Qin if she’s in love with Ye Hua. When she said yes, he decided to help her meet Ye Hua after the party.
At the peach orchard, Zhe Yan told Bai Qian that 2nd prince came to ask for some peach. He purposely gave him peaches that temporarily stop pregnancy as revenge. They also talked about her and Ye Hua’s marriage. Bai Qian thought that it was weird that she is so much older than him. Later that night, Bai Qian started drinking Zhe Yan’s alcohol while Ye Hua arrived at Eastern Sea’s party. He left Ali there and went to the peach orchard to pay his respect to Zhe Yan.
Ye Hua arrived at the peach orchard. Bai Qian noticed him. All of a sudden, she fell down from her tree. Ye Hua saw that and rushed to catch her. He saw her face and mistaken her for Su Su. Just when they were about to kiss, she disappeared. Ye Hua ran around looking for her. In the end he thought that it was all an illusion and left.
Bai Qian woke up the next day and thought that it was all a dream. She told Zhe Yan that in her dream, she used power to seduce an good looking young male. Bai Qian has now arrived at the gate of Eastern Sea. While walking around Dong Hai, Bai Qian saw Ali digging for treasures. She gave him a fan and tell him to fan the sand away. However, she didn’t expect his fanning to be so strong that it blew away the leaves and exposed bright lights. The bright light caused her the blind around her eyes to appear.
Ali saw her and immediately call her mom. Ye Hua also showed up and mistaken her for Su Su while she mistaken him for Mo Yuan. When Ye Hua wanted to touch her face, she got angry and slapped his hand away. He apologize for recognizing the wrong person in her. After Ye Hua and Ali left, Shao Xin, Bai Qian's previous maid showed up in front of Bai Qian and asked for forgiveness. Half way through their talk, Ali and Ye Hua head back, saw them, and hid behind while they talked.
While Bai Qian and Shao Xin were talking, Ye Hua saw that Bai Qian’s motions were the same as Su Su (tapping her fingers on the table, hitting her nose with the fan) and that she had the same scar as Su Su. Ali came out of hidden and said that his mom is the best. Ye Hua follow suit and called her Qian Qian. He said that since Ali called her mom, it wouldn’t make sense to call her gugu like everyone else. Step by step, Ye Hua charged toward her making her want to run away.
Before Bai Qian could run away, Eastern Sea King came and blame her ruining his court with that big wind. Bai Qian, who pretended to be a messenger of Zhe Yan and Bai Qian, apologized and left gifts. Bai Qian wanted to leave right after, but Ye Hua caught up to her and dragged her into the party with him. Not long after, Ye Hua left to meet up Miao Qin. Ali and Bai Qian also left the main hall. Ali asked her to break Ye Hua and Miao Qin up but Bai Qian told him that Ye Hua is young and should meet young women too. Ali got sad and asked if she wanted to abandon him and his dad. She flustered and tried to console him by saying that his dad is her heart, her liver, her treasure. Because of that, Ali pulled her to where Ye Hua is.
When Bai Qian showed up and claimed that Ali called her mom, Miao Qin immediately kneeled down and begged for understanding. Seeing that, Bai Qian decided to no longer care and wanted to leave. Ye Hua stopped her and asked if she is pretending or indeed forgot about him already. She slipped away before answering.
Ye Hua went to the peach orchard to ask Zhe Yan questions regarding Bai Qian. He asked why her eye sight is so poor, did she indeed sleep for 300 years, and if she loss her memory. Zhe Yan lied to and said she did not lose her memory. Even so, Ye Hua still believed that Bai Qian is Susu.
Ye Hua dropped Ali off at Qing Qiu before heading back to the heaven kingdom. Mi Gu told him he cannot take care of a child, Ali then told him that he’s easy to care for. He just need to give him a cup of tea and books that his mom, Bai Qian, likes. Ye Hua used Jie Bo lantern to burn Bai Qian’s handkerchief saying that if it turned green, the same color as Su Su’s, then she must also be Su Su. It did indeed turned green. He told 3rd prince his theory and the few questions he still have. Bai Qian stopped by her 4th brother’s place before heading back to Qing Qiu. Her strict 2nd brother also happen to be there. He asked about Feng Jiu. Bai Qian promised to watch over her and not let her get into trouble again. The minute Bai Qian came home, Ali ran out to greet her. Mi Gu informed her that Ye Hua left Ali here. Ali also told her that him and Ye Hua will move to her fox cave to live.
Bai Qian took Ali out to the market to buy food. While she was looking at fruits, Ye Hua arrived and asked her if that’s what she’s feeding Ali. After she nodded, he pulled her away to find meat for the growing boy. Because she doesn’t know how to cook, Bai Qian asked Mi Gu to cook. But Mi Gu is afraid of fire. Seeing how Mi Gu can’t cook, Ye Hua decided to personally cook while Bai Qian watch over the fire. During dinner, Ye Hua asked Bai Qian for a room for he will be there for a few days. Guessing that the reason Ye Hua wanted to live with her is to find Mo Yuan’s body, Bai Qian decided to hid her fan deep in the ocean.
News got back to Su Jin that Ye Hua have been living with Bai Qian. She started scheming to force Bai Qian to cancel the marriage. The maid that Su Jin sent to Qing Qiu relayed Su Jin’s message that its improper for the Crown Prince and his fiancée to live together to Mi Gu. Before she can meet Bai Qian, the people there chased her away. Bai Qian heard the message and relayed it back to Ye Hua. Ye Hua didn’t care and asked her to lie down so he can draw her. The maid came back and relayed what happened at Qing Qiu to Su Jin. She got mad that Bai Qian didn’t bother with her and look down. She started scheming again for something to happen on the King’s birthday party.
Ye Hua took Bai Qian and Ali to the mortal world for Ali’s birthday. While walking on the street, a speeding carriage charged toward them. Ye Hua saw that and pushed Bai Qian aside. Bai Qian all of a sudden remembered her mom crying and asking how she can be so injured only after years of not seeing her. Bai Qian thought that memory was weird since to her, she had not left Qing Qiu nor got injured. They settled down at a restaurant for lunch. All of a sudden he got news that he has a guest back at the Palace. He left Ali and Bai Qian at the mortal world while he took care of business. Bai Qian and Ali settled down at a tea place waiting for Ye Hua. While waiting for Ye Hua, Ali accidently snuck into a brothel. Bai Qian found him and snatched him away. When he asked what they people were doing on the bed, Bai Qian told him that’s how human “train.”
Ye Hua came back to the mortal world to find another man flirting with Bai Qian. When he asked Bai Qian why did she not do anything about it, her replied was that he only touched her. Ye Hua froze everyone and kissed her. While she was in shock, he told it it’s just a kiss. After Ye Hua and them settled down in an inn, a group of Ghost tribes snuck around to attack them. Luckily Ye Hua chased them away. The next morning, Ye Hua needed to head back to the heaven Kingdom to attend the King’s birthday party while Bai Qian and Ali went back to Qing Qiu.
On the day of the King’s party, Su Jin schemed to frame Yuan Zhen, the son of Shao Xin, of harassing her. This way Ye Hua will stay at the kingdom for a few days instead of going to Qing Qiu. Su Jin knocked Yuan Zhen out and afterward pretended to be all pitiful in the king and asked the king to allow her to die. The king sent him to the mortal world for the next 60 years as punishment. Su Jin cried in front of Ye Hua but he didn’t care. He told her he know about what happened with Su Su back then. To him, she is just a body that is taking care of Su Su’s eyes.
Ye Hua finally came back to Qing Qiu. Without him, all Bai Qian and Ali have been eating are fruits. Bai Qian decided to hire an intern to learn Ye Hua’s cooking skill so when he’s not there, they don’t have to eat fruits only. But Ye Hua did not approved anyone.
Li Jing came to Kunlun Mountain looking for Si Yin. News got back to Ye Hua along with a picture of Si Yin. Ye Hua saw the picture and know right away that it was Bai Qian. Li Jing came back to his kingdom to ask Xuan Nu who is Si Yin. He told her that Si Yin is from the fox tribe. When she heard that, she knew right away who he was talking about. After Li Jing left, Xuan Nu changed herself into Bai Qian and came to Qing Qiu.
Xuan Nu as Bai Qian went to steal Mo Yuan’s body to revive her dead baby. When Mi Gu finally noticed that she is not Bai Qian, the started fighting. She hypnotized him into thinking that she is Bai Qian. She took both Mo Yuan’s body and Ali with her.
Bai Qian came back to Qing Qiu and waken Mi Gu up from the hypnotic. He told her that Xuan Nu took Mo Yuan’s body and Ali. Bai Qian released her fan and disappeared. With the attacked from the ghost realm last time, Ye Hua guessed that Xuan Nu is the one behind it. She wanted to use the deity’s body to revive her dead baby. Bai Qian killed her way into the Ghost kingdom and faced off with Xuan Nu. Xuan Nu noticed that Bai Qian’s eyes are not well therefore used lights to blind her during the fight and injured her. Ye Hua came in time to help her and retrieved the hostages. Just when Bai Qian was about to kill Xuan Nu, Li Jing joined in and save her (thinking that she was A yin because she changed her face into A yin’s face).
Ye Hua asked Li Jing how does he want to settle this. Bai Qian slowly walked toward Xuan Nu and told her that she can give her that face back then but she can also take it back now. And so she did. After she saw her real face, Xuan Nu cannot accept the truth and blinded herself so she doesn’t have to look at her face anymore.
Xuan Nu cried and begged Li Jing to believe her. But he cannot go against both Qing Qiu and the Heaven kingdom in order to save her. He locked her up in prison and punish her.
Back at the heaven kingdom, Ye Hua asked 3rd prince regarding Mo Yuan and Si Yin’s story. 3rd prince told him that they have a special relationship. Ye Hua then questioned whether Bai Qian has been waiting for Mo Yuan this whole time. When Bai Qian woke up, Ye Hua confessed his love for her. Ye Hua told Bai Qian that he loves her and he did all those things for her because of that. She subtly rejected his confession saying that she is so much older than him. Seeing how she has no other responses, he eased her back to bed.
Back at the heaven kingdom, Ye Hua asked Nainai to clean up Yilanfang because Bai Qian will move in for a few days. He wanted her to use the spring to heal her injuries. After Bai Qian woke up, she went to visit Mo Yuan’s body. Then she walked to the lake and wanted to just walk around. Ye Hua saw her walking into the lake and remembered Su Su jumping into Zhu Xian Terrace. He got scared and used magic to pull her back and forced kiss her.
On the way back, Ye Hua and Bai Qian bumped into 4th brother and Zhe Yan. who just returned from the West Sea to help the sick son of the lord there. Zhe Yan noticed that something is weird with the sick son but don’t know what yet. He wanted to tell them what happened in West Sea but decided to postpone it. Mi Gu came and told Bai Qian that Li Jing is at the entrance wanting for her.
Ye Hua asked Zhe Yan again the same two questions that he asked before. Did Bai Qian really just sleep after her fight with the Ghost king? And did she forget something? Zhe Yan told him the truth. He also guessed that Su Su is Bai Qian.
As Ye Hua and Bai Qian were about to head to the heaven kingdom, they saw Li Jing still waiting. Bai Qian cleared things up with Li Jing. She told him that she used to love him but he hurt her. They can no longer go back to the beginning and start over. Li Jing asked Bai Qian to forgive him but she told him that their relationship is over and from now forward they are stranger.
Zhe Yan came to look for Bai Qian but she left already. Later he told 4th brother that he might have found a way to save the son of West Sea lord. He came to Kunlun Mountain to retrieve his magical item. Bai Qian and Ye Hua quietly entered the heaven kingdom. He carried her and jumped over the wall to enter his court. She asked if she will be staying with Ali but he said he already arranged a room for her in Yilanfanghua.
Bai Qian entered Yilanfanghua and started feeling uncomfortable. Nai Nai started crying when she saw Bai Qian but Ye Hua told her that she is not Su Su. Su Jin also got news that Bai Qian entered the heaven kingdom and Yilanfanghua. She finally realized that Ye Hua is in love with Bai Qian. Ye Hua brought Ali over to meet Bai Qian. He was happy and asked her to carry him. When she rejected his request, he asked if it was because she’s pregnant. He read somewhere that pregnant lady can’t hug other babies. Ye Hua happily chimed in and asked if she want to have a baby right after the wedding. She said sure if he’s the one giving birth.
Ye Hua took Bai Qian and Ali to the hot tub so they can rest and heal there. He told Bai Qian that she can feed Ali some fruit wine and fruits if he want some then left to go back to work. Su Jin used Miao Qin again to scheme to chase away Bai Qian. She told Miao Qin to give Ye Hua some soup with some medicine to seduce him. She happily accepted it. At the hot tub, Bai Qian fed Ali too much alcohol that he got drunk and fell asleep. Nai Nai carried him back while Bai Qian is getting ready to head back to Ye Hua’s study room.
Miao Qin brought the soup to Ye Hua’s study room and told him that she will be leaving after he drink it. He noticed the medicine and got mad. While Miao Qin was begging for forgiveness, Su Jin also jumped in and begged for her. Bai Qian came back and heard a woman crying. Ye Hua called her in to see that Miao Qin and Su Jin kneeling there. When she saw Su Jin, she complimented her eyes not knowing that it was her own. They decided to send Miao Qin back. After Bai Qian left Ye Hua also followed her to guide her back to her room. Meanwhile, Su Jin was so shocked that Bai Qian and Su Su look so much alike. At Yilangfanghua, Ye Hua asked Bai Qian why did she decided to send Miao Qin back. She said because he doesn’t like her. Ye Hua wanted Bai Qian to get jealous but was sadden to see that she was not.
In the morning, Nai Nai anxiously carried the still drunken Ali to ask Bai Qian for help. She told him not to worry and that his alcohol tolerance is just low. He should be up and running again the next morning. She told Nainai to rest while she took care of Ali. After Bai Qian left to go to the hot spring again, Su Jin came to Yilangfanghua. She wanted to enter but was blocked by Nai Nai and left. On Bai Qian’s way to the spring, she overheard the servants saying that she’s shameless for seducing Ye Hua even though she’s so old. She got a bit irritated and discretely sent them to serve elsewhere.
Ye Hua came to pick Ali up. On his way out, Bai Qian happened to enter. He told her that she should not be so careless just because Ali is not her real son. Bai Qian got irritated and told him to ask Su Jin to take care of his son since she is oh so nice.
Ali finally woke up. Ye Hua’s mom blamed Bai Qian for not knowing how to take care of Ali but Ye Hua defended her. Bai Qian wanted to visit Ali but seeing that Sujin and Ye Hua’s mom were in there, she decided to leave.
Zhe Yan rushed back to West Sea with a plan to save the elder son of the lord. He told them that he will bring a helper to care for the son. After everyone left, Zhe Yan told 4th brother that Mo Yuan is within the son. Mo Yuan is finally back!! When he said that, Mo Yuan’s sword and Ye Hua reacted to the awakening of Mo Yuan’s soul. Zhe Yan wanted to tell Bai Qian right away but was stopped by 4th brother. 4th brother is worried that Ye Hua will be jealous of Mo Yuan now that he will wake up.
Zhe Yan decided to tell Ye Hua first before telling Bai Qian. He met up with Ye Hua and told him that Mo Yuan will be waking up. After he saw no reactions from Ye Hua he told him the first time Bai Qian and Mo Yuan met. When Bai Qian first met Mo Yuan she didn’t believe that he is the war god. She said he looked like a handsome young flirter more. Before Zhe Yan left, Ye Hua asked is there a faster way to help Mo Yuan wake up. Zhe Yan told him that Jie Po lantern will help.
Su Jin came to visit Bai Qian and did a curtsy for a formal greeting. The already irritated Bai Qian told her to go ahead and greet her. When Su Jin said she did already Bai Qian told her that according to Qing Qiu’s rules, those who greet her must wash 3 days in advance and then 3 kneels 9 bows to show respect! BAM!
Zhe Yan showed up and told Bai Qian that he found Mo Yuan’s soul resting in the body of West Sea’s prince. Because his soul was scattered, it is still very weak right now but it is there. Bai Qian left a note for Ye Hua and followed Zhe Yan to West Sea. Bai Qian and Zhe Yan finally arrived at West Sea. Zhe Yan told the lord that his disciple (Bai Qian) will be caring for his son when he’s not there.
Once inside the room, Bai Qian knocked the elder son out and entered his soul looking for Mo Yuan. She found him laying there weak and unconscious. She decided that she will need Jie Po lantern to help him revive faster. Bai Qian wanted to let the king know before she head back to the heaven kingdom. But inside the main lobby, she saw Ye Hua sitting there. Still mad about what he said regarding Ali, she wanted to take off but was pinned down by Ye Hua. He pinned her to the wall and force kissed her until he saw a scar on her chest. That scar that was left over from stabbing her chest for blood to keep Mo Yuan’s body alive. Bai Qian asked Ye Hua for the Jiu Po lantern and told him that she will try to battle the 4 beasts for the herb. She wanted to cancel their marriage because after losing so much power she will not be able to undergo the trial to become queen with him. Ye Hua teared and told her to come to his room at night for the Jie Po lantern.
Bai Qian returned to her room to find her 4th brother also there. She told her 4th brother that her and Ye Hua got into a fight because of Ali. Her brother guessed that she must be jealous. After some debates, she also admitted that she must have been jealous. But she can’t accept that she had fallen for someone who is 90,000 years younger than her.
Night time, Bai Qian came to Ye Hua’s room for Jie Po lantern to see Ye Hua drinking. He gave her the lantern and she asked him what does he want in return. He told her all I wanted since the beginning was you. He closed the door on her and carried her to bed. Bai Qian had flash backs to her time as Susu but thought that it was just her mind saying she likes Ye Hua. Bai Qian stopped resisting and the two spent the night together.
Bai Qian asked Ye Hua about his battle with Mermaid Clan and why he almost lost. He told her that he went easy of them. He asked her how would she react if someone took her eyes. And if that person was him. She told him that no one dare but if he did, their relationship ends there. (Aww… I have a bad feeling about this. She’s gonna remember and then avoid him like she said she would if he ever betrayed her…)
Bai Qian dreamt about her life as Su Su and the time Su Su left the magical barrier to look for Ye Hua. She was unclear about the dream when she woke up. Ye Hua reported to the King that he want to destroy the magical herb guarded by the 4 beasts. The king approved and told him that he can inherit the throne once he defeated those beasts.
For the next 3 days, Bai Qian and Feng Jiu guarded the lantern to prevent it from extinguishing. Feng Jiu teased her about finaly finding love. On the other side, Ye Hua is preparing for a life and death battle with the 4 beasts. He will be facing those beasts alone.
Ye Hua also arrived at the entrance of the cave. He went in and battled the 4 beasts. Though he got injured, he managed to knock out the 4 beasts but one of the beasts attacked and ripped his arm off. But he got to the herbs. He got one and was in the process of destroying the rest Then, Ye Hua showed up at Kunlun Mountain, with his one arm, to prepare the herb. Using the herb and half? all? of his power, he made the medicine needed to help revive Mo Yuan sooner, all for Bai Qian.
After 3 days, the elder prince of West Sea finally woke up feeling better than ever. With that, Bai Qian left to go to bed. Ye Hua then arrived at the peach orchard half dead. He handed the medicine to Zhe Yan to give to Bai Qian. While Ye Hua is unconscious, Zhe Yan prepared a 1000 year old lotus fruit to replace his missing arm.
The next day, Ye Hua finally woke up with his one stiff arm. Zhe Yan told him that maybe in 10,000 years, he might be able to move it a little. He thanked Zhe Yan and told him to give the medicine to Bai Qian but without telling her that it’s from him. Before he leave, Zhe Yan asked him what would happen if Ghost king break free after Mo Yuan wake up? He told him that someone will seal him again if that’s the case.
Ye Hua returned to the heaven kingdom have his men sent Ali away and lied to the King that he lost his power because of the battle with the beasts. He fainted upon arrival. Zhe Yan came to West Sea to give the medicine to Bai Qian. He lied and told her that he used his power to make the medicine. She thanked him and fed the medicine to the elder prince of Xi Hai. He fainted once he consumed the medicine because his body cannot withstand all that power.
The elder prince of Xi Hai finally woke up. Bai Qian once again entered the elder prince’s soul to see how Mo Yuan is doing. She noticed that the power that is protecting Mo Yuan is not Zhe Yan’s. She guessed that it has to belong to Ye Hua therefore Bai Qian rushed to leave. Bai Qian rushed back to the heaven kingdom to check of Ye Hua. Ye Hua pretended like nothing happened. She told him that she knows he used his power to make the medicine. He pretended like it was no big deal that he just happened to walk by and picked up the herb on the way. When he told her that she should go back and care for Mo Yuan, Bai Qian noticed that was he’s too injured to hold up much longer and therefore left. Outside the door, she cried silently when she heard him cough.
Bai Qian rushed back to the peach orchard and look for Zhe Yan for answers. He told her everything how Ye Hua planned to get the herb and lost in arm in the process. Since Ye Hua doesn’t want her to know, Bai Qian decided to pretend that she doesn’t know and returned to his side. When Bai Qian came back and wanted to sleep in Ali’s room, Ye Hua back hugged her and told her now that he only have one arm, she can push him off whenever. She agreed to sleep on the same bed with him. In the morning, Ye Hua had a coughing fit and sneaked out to not disturb Bai Qian. He coughed up blood outside and Bai Qian heard it all but pretended to still be sleeping.
Su Jin got news that Bai Qian is with Ye Hua again. She realized that all her schemes had been failing so far. This time she want to use Su Su to break her and Ye Hua up.
Ali and Chengyu came back while Ye Hua and Bai Qian are sitting around. Chengyu asked if she can touch Bai Qian but Ali stopped her saying that his mom belonged to his dad. Only his dad can touch her. After Ye Hua finished drawing them, Bai Qian explained that Ye Hua is weak recently. Ali asked if that mean he can carry him but not Bai Qian. The haughty Ye Hua took Bai Qian by one arm and carried her back to his room and dumped her on his bed. Bai Qian confessed to him that she loves him and asked him to ask the King to plan the wedding on September 2nd. Ye Hua was ecstatic by her confession and asked her to give him another child.
Back at the heaven kingdom, Bai Qian woke looking for Ye Hua. A maid servant came to prepare tea, Bai Qian put something in the tea and the maid saw it. She reported it back to Ye Hua’s mom and Su Jin. They suspect that Bai Qian is seducing Ye Hua with that medicine. Ye Hua’s mom and Sujin came to meet Bai Qian. As Ye Hua was about to drink the tea, his mom tried to stop him. He explained to her that Bai Qian put into some medicine herbs in the tea to help his injuries. After his mom heard that, she happily talked about their marriage.
Everyone met to talk about Ye Hua and Bai Qian’s marriage. His dad brought up the fact that because Ye Hua killed the 4 beasts that belonged to the old god, he must be sentenced to the mortal world as punishment. The king said that since he destroyed the herbs, as reward Ye Hua’s fate in the mortal world will be left blank and filled as he live, including his love life.
Bai Qian went back to Qingqiu to discuss her wedding with Ye Hua with her 2nd and 4th brother. She wanted to rush the wedding so that she can help Ye Hua accept the trials to ascend the throne. When Bai Qian came back to the heaven king and she was led toward the lotus pond to where Ye Hua is. On her way there, she remembered the path that Su Su took toward Zhu Xian Terrace. Once the fog cleared out, she saw Ye Hua and a bunch of immortals greeted her as the future wife of Ye Hua!
Ye Hua and Bai Qian headed back to his room. He told her that they cannot get married on September 2nd because he has to go to the mortal world for 2 months as punishment. Since his fate is left blank, Bai Qian warned him that he cannot marry other women if not she’ll lock him up in her cave.
Zhe Yan and 4th brother came to West Sea once again to check on Mo Yuan. After Zhe Yan checked West Sea’s elder prince. The bell at Kunlunxu rang loud and clear across the land. Everyone who heard it know that Mo Yuan is coming back, including Bai Qian. Just when she came back to Qing Qiu, Zhe Yan told her that Mo Yuan is coming back and the three rushed to where Mo Yuan’s body is!! On the other side, Ye Hua is preparing to go down the mortal world. But before he leave, he must drink the “amnesia” potion and forget everything. Bai Qian, Zhe Yan, and 4th brother stood outside the cave where Mo Yuan’s body is. The nervous Bai Qian entered and saw her Master sitting there. She cried and hugged him saying that she had been waiting for him. Zhe Yan and 4th brother came in and told him that he had been sleeping for 70,000 years. Outside, the Ghost king stirred and said that with out Mo Yuan’s soul, he will break out in no time.
The crew finally settled down in the cave. The first question that Mo Yuan asked was if they have seen anyone that look like him. Bai Qian told him that that would be her future husband, Crown Prince, Ye Hua. Mo Yuan was shocked to hear future husband but regained composure and told them that that is his twin brother. Mo Yuan told them that back then, his mom used too much energy to maintain peace therefore could only support one baby. His dad used his power to maintain the soul of the 2nd baby in a golden lotus hoping that he will reborn one day and that baby is Ye Hua. Mo Yuan wanted to see Ye Hua but because of his injuries and Ye Hua is in the mortal world, Bai Qian convinced to head back to Kunlun Mountain first and heal.
Bai Qian went down to the mortal to visit Ye Hua. She saw him sitting with another woman whose back faces her. Not long after Su Jin popped up and told her that the woman is a carved wood made to resemble Su Su, Ye Hua’s first love. In front of Su Jin, Bai Qian pretended that that doesn’t bother her. After Su Jin left, she felt sad and jealous that mortal Ye Hua didn’t remember her but remembered Su Su. The sad and jealous Bai Qian returned to the peach orchard and talked to her 4th brother. She said she knows that she shouldn’t be jealous of a dead person but she can’t help but think that she’s just a replacement for Su Su. 4th brother told her to think about her time with Ye Hua and how he treats her. Su Jin was ecstatic that her plan worked. All Bai Qian did was sleep and drink after she came back from the peach orchard.
During a drunken stupor, Bai Qian accidently knocked Jie Po lantern over and shattered it. The minute she pricked it, the lantern started replaying her memories of Su Su and returned those memories to her. She finally realized that Su Su is her and she is Su Su. After the shock, Bai Qian summoned her fan and arrived at the heaven kingdom. She arrived at Su Jin’s room and asked if Su Jin likes using her eyes. 300 years later, Bai Qian’s here to retrieve her eyes. Bai Qian asked if Su Jin rather gouge it out or have her do it herself. Bai Qian cold heartedly gouge Su Jin’s eyes. Now that the eyes are returned, Bai Qian told her that she must also repay her regarding Zhu Xian Terrace. Bai Qian gave her two options: 1. jump down the well herself or 2. guard Bell of East Emperor and never to return to the heaven kingdom again. Bai Qian left the crying-eyeless Su Jin to decide.
Bai Qian walked toward Zhu Xian Terrace and recalled her lonely and helpless time as Su Su. She asked herself how can she marry Ye Hua after all that he did. She left to go to the peach orchard to ask Zhe Yan to help her revive her eyes. Back in the mortal world, Ye Hua is dying. On his deathbed, fake Su Su was by his side. Even without his memories, he told her that he named her Su Su for her bland clothing. He only regret is that he can no longer wait for Bai Qian who visited him and told him he was her future husband. After mortal Ye Hua died, Crown Prince Ye Hua woke up at Kunlun Mountain. Mo Yuan told him everything regarding his birth. He also told him that Bai Qian took care of him when he was just a golden lotus. Ye Hua calmly accepted everything.
Ye Hua finally came back to the heaven kingdom and heard Su Jin's news. He then revealed everything to the Heaventy Lord and the marriage have to be rushed. After the whole thing, Ye Hua told his mom that September 2nd will be his marriage date. Bai Qian is the person he has been waiting all along. Ye Hua continued to wait outside the cave to meet Bai Qian. But she’s still too angry to see him. She continued to question his love for her. She told Mi Gu that she will cancel their marriage tomorrow and continued to drink. Ye Hua asked Mi Gu to ask her whether she still remember what she said about tying back to Qing Qiu cave if he fall for another woman in the mortal world. Bai Qian got even angrier after hearing that. Ye Hua continued to wait for her in the rain.
But then, Qing Cang the Ghost King was awaken. Bai Qian rushed to go there and Ye Hua followed. Realizing that it's time to fight the Ghost King, Ye Hua sealed Bai Qian's magic and fight Qing Cang by himself. He defeated Qing Cang but his soul also scattered, the same as Mo Yuan before. With blood coming all along from Ye Hua, Bai Qian cried to Ye Hua for not leaving her.
Three years later, after living a sad life, Ye Hua was awaken from his coffin and Bai Qian and Ye Hua met again for eternal life...
Well, after finishing this beautiful drama, now I know how hard it must been to move on to the next one. I am seriously saying that this drama is really good. I fall for Yang Mi's acting, mainly focus with the remarkable acting & also suppoted by the voice (dubbed by Ji Guanlin) and Mark Chao's gentle acting. Besides, I really admire his 夜华的专情, when he falls, then he would just fall hard, 就是三生三世都不会变的那种感觉. 这就是我特别欣赏和佩服的一点. How could someone be so devoted and faithful? This one will really makes you so emo seriously. It's rare to find such character nowadays which ofcourse would make everyone hope to meet another 夜华.
On the other side, I also admire Bai Qian so much, for being such a tough and powerful lady, which is also rare to see in every dramas nowadays. Even when she's strong enough, he could also meet with her destinied one, so romantic OMG.
Director, please do a second season, let us see how beautiful the romance life between Ye Hua & Bai Qian, plus A-Li and another little baby! Haha ~
