For this week episode, I am not gonna recapping since I will be in Korea for the next days and will be back after this whole week. So, it would be an interesting story later on when I catch back.
Anyway, Jin Goo has said on his interview that the ending would be satisfactory thus I am hoping A LOT, more than just A LOT that the ending would be in my expectation. Though it may not be super perfect but at least they got a little happiness along the way yeay! ^.^ Happy holiday and happy watching all ~

Descendant of the Sun - Recap Ep 10
Hi All, next week I'm going to Korea to travel to Jeju for a week, thus I won't be recapping since it will be hard to watch with no subs and there will be no time for me to watch also. Hopefully next next week I will be able to watch it and recap Episode 11 and 12 asap when I come back home ^^ Now let's get started:
Shi Jin asked the bodyguard of Argus to help him to move him inside to have the first aid treatment, although Shi Jin recommends Argus to just die there. Mo Yeon takes the bullet out of Argus while Argus complains it hurts like hell and asks Mo Yeon whether she injects him with painkillers. Mo Yeon responds in Korean that she is not a skilled doctor that's why she forgets to give him painkillers. I wish him to just die there instead of complaining. That's good enough if Mo Yeon saves him and yet he's still complaining, what a jerk.
Argus is saved and he's going to take Fatima (the girl who is going to be sold and shots Argus with a gun) but Mo Yeon blocks him, saying he should go to the hospital asap since she just did what's the first treatment need to. Argus holds back and asks the rest of the guy to retreat since Korean Army is coming to their way. Shi Jin says, if Argus is going to run away, better he runs as fast as he can and as far as possible since his kindness is only up to there.
Back into the camp, Shi Jin tells Dae Yong that he meets with Argus, the previous Special Force captain who quits and now being an arm dealer ganks who chase after money and does something bad now.
Mo Yeon is reminded what Argus has told her about being with a dangerous man, who is Shi Jin, "You know, you are with a dangerous man? There's more chance of getting hurt being around a guy with a gun."
Suddenly, Fatima is going to run away from there and Mo Yeon holds her with foods for her to eat. Fatima asks Mo Yeon why she saves Argus from dying and Mo Yeon answers her that she saved Fatima for being a murderer. Fatima agrees she saves her from being a murderer but that doesn't mean she won't be killed and thus she is going to run away. Mo Yeon says there are lots of soldiers out there so Fatima won't be killed but Fatima can't trust soldiers. Mo Yeon gives up and says if Fatima is still insisting to run away, better she eats first to gain energy to run as far as she can.
The nurses gossips about Manager Jin who used to have Chi Hoon's seat to fly back to Korea but he didn't even come on plane. The next day, Myeong Ju and Dae Yong is going to visit the Haunted Village to do some duties regarding the diseases. Actually Mo Yeon is the one who should go, but Myeong Ju insists it should be her since Dae Yong is the one in charge. Dae Yong asks Myeong Ju on their way, whether Myeong Ju ever considered about leaving the army and finding new job. Dae Yong explains he has thought about this because he performs dangerous job and many times they were apart and thus because of them being together, he has a thought about that now.
Myeong Ju says she never thinks about that but that doesn't make a problem whether Dae Yong is indeed a soldier or whatever jobs he does. She then says to Dae Yong not to take off his uniform without her consent. Ohmy, this choice has made Dae Yong to think hard enough yet Myeong Ju doesn't even know about it. Poor Dae Yong, I wish your love life will go smoother.
Myeong Ju and Dae Yong arrived at the Haunted Village but finds no one there. Shi Jin is being called by the Commander to give him commands not to interfere with what Argus has been doing since it is not an illegal deal but it's a politic for the US government to supply one of the Urk soldier with a gun. They are going to make a pro-American government thus Korean army should not interfere anymore. Shi Jin says he is not going to take any preemptive action but it's his mission to keep the public in order. The Commander reminds him that it's a command and he should obey it no matter what.
Back to the barracks, Dae Yong gives Shi Jin reports on how the situation of the Haunted Village. Shi Jin tells him he just comes back from the Corps Command and tells him from that moment, Korean Army won't interfere with any of Argus operations anymore and asks Dae Yong to keep this information as confidential.
Shi Jin is devastated because of the command and Mo Yeon who notices it, gives him a glass of milk with sugar. Mo Yeon asks him what's going on with the other children from Haunted Village and Shi Jin tells her they are going to be alright at the orphanage. Mo Yeon then tells him how busy she is and Shi Jin jokes on how busy she is till she didn't tie her hair properly.
Shi Jin then helps him to tie her hair and Mo Yeon says she is able to do it herself. But Shi Jin says, "Love compels us to do things for others that they can do themselves." Mo Yeon then promises him she will do something for him that Shi Jin is good at doing it too.
OMG they are so lovey dovey. Suddenly there is Miss B who announces there are parcels from Korea and Mo Yeon directly stands up and goes to look at the parcels. Shi Jin then gets jealous over parcels and asks Mo Yeon whether she is leaving him only for parcels and which one Mo Yeon chooses, it's Shi Jin or parcels. Mo Yeon then confidently says, "Of course it's Captain Yoo!"
Mo Yeon grabs the parcels and sees Dae Yong got a parcel too from Korea and offers to take it to Dae Yong. Then she announces from walkie talkie that there is a parcel from Korea for Sergeant Seo from Shin Ji Young. After hearing who it is from, Dae Yong asks Mo Yeon where she is. Shi Jin throws his paper and they both runs with their life to her.
Myeong Ju who hears the announcement looks upset and runs towards Mo Yeon too. Mo Yeon sees the package with "Salute and I miss you" signs. Meanwhile the other two guy runs with their life on the line haha, so cute of them getting caught for going to a blind date.
Myeong Ju inspects the box and is surprised to see the heart sign on the box. She looks upset and is going to get mad to Dae Yong. Then she opens the box and they both see a picture of Shi Jin and Dae Yong with two beautiful stewardess. Mo Yeon then asks Myeong Ju to prepare her gun.
Shi Jin and Dae Yong arrives at the scene and directly says it is all a misunderstanding. Myeong Ju points out they had seen the picture of them looking very sweet and Mo Yeon says thankfully she is able to see Shi Jin's brightest smile ever. Shi Jin looks very nervous and says he is not smilling actually and touches Dae Yong to speak good on behalf of him. Dae Yong then says it's actually his cousin who is a stewardess. (LOLS, Then the promise on the first episode comes with a realization?! LOLS it's a blind date for Shi Jin then!!)
Myeong Ju then asks both of them which one is the cousin and they both should answer together. Sadly they answers it in the opposite directions leading them for only lying in front of the girls. They are so cute, specially the expression of Dae Yong who is scared of Myeong Ju and nervous at the same time. Then Dae Yong says honestly that he set up Captain Yoo for a date and there is nothing more or less more than that.
Mo Yeon isn't surprised and says how much they contact each other for the girl to have this address and Shi Jin then says he has put her off because of Mo Yeon and asks her favor for doing so well. Mo Yeon then says to him to just stay quiet and follows her. The other soldiers guy are on a bet and says that's true it's a blind date when they have to attend Sergeant Park's son birthday and yet they just came to say hi and directly went somewhere else with their nice suit.
Mo Yeon then says that she thought Shi Jin is going to be single forever when Mo Yeon left him since he has a distraught look and Mo Yeon feels sorry for him. But then, he has a sweetheart out there. Shi Jin finds excuses that the girl isn't his sweetheart and yet he even forgets her name. Mo Yeon then says if he forgets then how could he runs to her after hearing a parcel from Shin Ji Young instead. Shi Jin then says it's not him. Mo Yeon looks annoyed. LOLS. Shi Jin is saved then because there is a phone call coming to Mo Yeon.
The next day, Fatima is disappeared after stealing narcotics and antibiotics from the Medicube storage. Mo Yeon and Shi Jin tries to find her through the sexy girl in the bar. They finds Fatima who gets beaten by the local gang, seven guys with a gun. Mo Yeon and Shi Jin are trapped and Shi Jin finds a way out by telling Mo Yeon to run away when he says "Now" to the car and if within five minutes Shi Jin is not there, Mo Yeon should drive off herself.
The good thing, our main lead, the handsome Captain Yoo is so skillful thus he is from Special Force and was able to get out from there. But Mo Yeon doesn't find him within five minutes thus she rides the car towards the wall and break it and helps Shi Jin and Fatima to escape from there. Mo Yeon is surprised to see how brave she can be and she finds it amazing after she beats all the bad guy. Then she tells Fatima to listen to her from now and she is going to pay for her tution first and let her pay Mo Yeon back later.
Opps, sorry, I forget there are sweet scene for Goo-won couple out there till they are distracted by Shi Jin's voice over the walkie talkie, asking for help because the car that being ride by Mo Yeon crashed and they need someone to pick them up.
Shi Jin then says to her that Mo Yeon can't take everyone she met as her responsibility because it won't change the world. But Mo Yeon says, even though she couldn't change everyone and everything but at least Fatima's life will be changed and that means a world to her. What a wise thought and Shi Jin also surprised to see his girlfriend doctor being so wise.
Manager Jin tries hard to make the diamonds he eats out of his stomach and he takes a new passport with a Turkish name but sadly he is discovered and taken by Argus. Argus tries to find the diamond through him but Team Alpha saves Manager Jin from dying on the hand of Argus with the excuse of taking the bad guy in his country and let Argus go without doing anything to him. Yet, Manager Jin still lies about the diamond but the X-ray shows there are diamonds on his stomach.
Mo Yeon and Myeong Ju operates on Manager Jin who cough blood and looks very sick and suddenly there are splash of blood over to Mo Yeon and Myeong Ju. With her diagnosis, Mo Yeon suspects it's a viral influenza (M2 or M3 virus) which is deadly and Mo Yeon asks the rest of the nurses to get out from the contaminated operation room and Mo Yeon and Myeong Ju who has been already contaminated to stay there and finish the surgery themselves.
Shi Jin and Dae Yong who hears about the condition runs with their life with them looking so nervous as if they are worried their loved one is going to die. Dae Yong asks Myeong Ju what he can do to save her and Myeong Ju calms him down. They are both now draws the blood to check whether they are contaminated with the virus or not.
Myeong Ju says there is a lab in the US army base to conduct the blood test but she is not sure whether they will cooperate and suddenly Shi Jin says he will do the negitiation and Dae Yong directly runs to prepare the car asap. They are all looking very sad.
The US army helps them and finally the results come out and they says that's true it's the M3 virus and one of the doctors has been contaminated. And sadly it's Myeong Ju with Dae Yong runs to her and hug her with his tears running down and Myeong Ju knows it's her and it ends like this. This part gains the highest rating so far for this episode.
Thoughts of mine:
I never thought this episode will be like this because it's a sweet and calm day till the virus story spread and I can't believe it that the doctors, specially Myeong Ju has to be contaminated with the virus. I mean.... Dae Yong and her just start their love life together but now she ends up with a virus and that's very sad of them. How could this be like this?
But I won't hope for Mo Yeon to be the one contaminated also. I never thought the problem would be like this though I know there will be even greater disaster, but I expect it to be something like problem with Argus, not with a threatening life virus.
The preview of next episode shows how Myeong Ju gets sick and it brokes my heart, I hope she is safe and both of this couple will get a happy ending instead, although I know it's a melodrama but Kim Eun Sook always writes a happy ending. Well, though for Secret Garden it's not excatly a happy ending since Joo Won's mon still doesn't agree with the relationship but I guess that's the best possible ending since life is supposed to be like that, there is nothing perfect and yet we still choose to be happy to go on with life.

Descendant of the Sun - Recap Ep 9
All of my colleagues said episode 9 is daebak!! They are all blushing all the way till the end. I was so surprised to hear how could this episode be like. But yeah, I was smiling right from the start!!
After Mo Yeon put her phone to music state, there is a soft song playing to comfort others who are hurt because of the accident. Daniel said, "Music changes a lot of things." and Shi Jin was there to hear the next song. A woman voice then comes right after, it is indeed Mo Yeon. It is her dying message recorded when she was on the cliff and nearly died. Mo Yeon who hears her recording is totally surprised and run all the way with her life to the music room.
In the recording, she said, "I can't leave something like this on my dying message. Shi Jin-ssi, are you on your way? You're not coming. I don't think you're coming. I don't think I could hold out until you get here. Well, but I guess you'll be the first one to find me if I die."
Mo Yeon reaches the premises and ready to climb the stairs. Then the recording continues, "You know what? If I had known, I would die like this, I should have honestly confessed my feelings. I was kissed by an awesome man. My heart was fluttering the whole time..." and Mo Yeon grabs her phone and runs away from Shi Jin.
Shi Jin smiles because of her cute doings and Daniel said, "Music does change a lot of things." and Shi Jin said, "I think I am the centre of that change." and directly jump from the window to block Mo Yeon from leaving downstaris. (OMG, how cool and manly he is when he jumps! I was screaming hard and ready to fall head over heels for him!)
Shi Jin blocks Mo Yeon right in front of the door. Mo Yeon is surprised to see him and asks, "How could you are here? Why are you here?" and Shi Jin only answers her, "This is advantageous for me." Mo Yeon acts cool and says "Are you using your training as Special Forces on a matter like this? For completely personal reasons?" Then she finds another excuses on how he just stays there and listens to someone's recording. Shi Jin confidently says the recording was being played there. But Mo Yeon says even if it was being played, he should not try to listen to it. And that's why Shi Jin finds her so cute.
Shi Jin confronts her, "But why are you running? When you were near to death, you wanted to confess your feeling. But now that you are alive, you changed your feelings?" Shi Jin says that someone has confessed her feeling publicly towards him through a public broadcast but Mo Yeon denies it's her voice nor it was her. But stupidly, that's her phone. After debating whether it is her or not, she finally admit it was her voice. Shi Jin smiles and said, "It is an honor to be in your will."
Shi Jin then said to her honestly, "Stop dumping me. Do you know how many times you've dumped me? I have to hear from you if it was a confession of your feelings or not. So stop running away." (OMG he is so cool, I like how he is very assertive and straightforwardly chase his love)

Sadly, he swallows the diamond into his stomach and give the box to Argus after being manipulated. The Manager asks the nurse to make him returns to Korea on tomorrow's plane. Chi Hoon then gives his seat to the Manager, saying he wants to stay and claims back what he left as a doctor.
Captain Yoo and Dae Yong have received the news of Commander will come tomorrow's afternoon to Urk and Shi Jin asks the rest of the soldiers to clean up and pretends that what is their usual life in the barracks. Sadly, Commander (Myeong Ju's father) doesn't directly goes to the barrack but goes for a meeting with the UN and invites Shi Jin, Myeong Ju, Dae Yong and Mo Yeon to his office to talk for a minute.

He is going to do whatever the Commander wants him to do, that includes him being transferred.
The Commander then ask Myeong Ju to leave the office and says he will approve Dae Yong and Myeong Ju's dating relationship and have them for marriage but he won't accept a Sergeant to be his son-in-law and tells him to quit being a soldier and he will look for a job in the company of Myeong Ju's mom that fits Dae Yong's experience. He then tells Dae Yong to think about if till he comes back to Korea and he needs to make a decision. Dae Yong then tells Myeong Ju that they get a permission to date and Myeong Ju is so happy till she wonders what has just happened.

In fact, in that area, there is no town and it is called Haunted Village because it is operated by a local gang who take the orphans without really taking care of them instead selling the girls as sex-trafficking.
One of the girls there asks Shi Jin and Mo Yeon to help her out from there and she shots Argus while Argus and Shi Jin are arguing. Argus asks Mo Yeon to save him since she has take an oath to save anyone needed. But Mo Yeon said she won't save him because by saving him, that means she will make things worse and there will be more who will die.
But Shi Jin suggests her to let him live because that's what doctors should do and killing him would be Shi Jin's job to do.
