Scarlet Heart: Ryeo is a remake for Bu Bu Jing Xin in Korean and will potray the Korean history in the Kingdom of Goryeo. Lee Jun Ki who is famous for sageuk drama will take the male lead role as the 4th Prince who "doesn't want to be a King but he shines brilliantly" and IU who takes another challenge in her acting career will be Zhang Xiao/Ruo Xi who travels back to the Goryeo Dynasty.
I didn't expect anything at first but seeing IU in that poster makes me expecting the story to go beyond our imagination. I watched the Chinese version and I really like how they potrayed the helpless Ruo Xi, who wants to stay alive and yet she is trapped with the love story between herself with 4th and 8th Prince and there is no way she could go back to her world.
The Scarlet team has released the official posters for each character and here is it, and me, here, waiting for this to air on August! One more month to go ~
