Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won Script Reading for 'Fight My Way'

Upcoming KBS2 Mon-Tues drama 'Fight My Way' (formerly known as 'Ssam My Way') held a script reading with its loaded cast!

Actors Park Seo Joon, Kim Ji Won, Ahn Jae Hong, Song Ha Yoon, Kim Sung Oh, Choi Woo Sik, and more gathered and had a blast reading through the script.

In the drama, Park Seo Joon will be playing the role of Go Dong Man, while Kim Ji Won will be in the role of Choi Ae Ra. The two develop from longtime close friends to a romantic relationship, all the while telling stories of growth and success among today's youth.

Are you excited for 'Fight My Way'?

I am not excited as I expect it to be, not because Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won are not good, but because I just want to keep my expectation just right (remember about Uncontrollably Fond - which KBS had purposely advertised it as a romantic-comedy drama which turns out to be a totally melodrama). Park Seo Joon hits his peak nowadays. Even after finishing Hwarang: The Beginning with Go Ara, he still chose to work another project while the timing is right.

In Hwarang, Park Seo Joon is truly a good actor, he has that kind of strong leadership and manly vibes around him, which makes him charming in his own way. Though, I decided to watch Hwarang just because of Park Hyung Sik. Honestly speaking, I would say it is a waste of his talent when he filmed Hwarang with Go Ara because I just don't see the chemistry between them. I know Go Ara is beautiful but sadly, her character there is just so-normal-girl without something that would spark the interets of the viewer.

However, this time, it's all different when you had Kim Ji Won as his pair. Both of them wil surely shines in their own way and I believe that Kim Ji Won and Park Seo Jun would be able to pull off the character with notes, the written of their character is explained well by the writer.

Who Wouldn't Love Park Hyung Sik?

Park Hyung Sik was born in Yongin, South Korea on November 16, 1991. He was actually an idol from boygroup, ZE:A. He gained popularity on screen after he was cast in military variety show Real Men and was nicknamed "Baby Soldier" for his innocent yet passionate image. Later he gained favorable attention for his roles in The Heirs, What's With This Family, High Society and Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. In 2017, he starred in his first leading role on JTBC in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon alongside Park Bo Young.

I never know that I end up being interested with this actor, because I don't really like him acting like a woman, well, I mean, flower boy, with his soft and gentle image. Though now I understand, who wouldn't love him?

I always thought that idol-turn-actor is not something to be proud of because most of the idols who turn to be actor has poor quality to act in a drama. But this guy rocks it. I believe everything was due to his experience from The Heirs till now. His potrayal as King Jinheung in Hwarang: The Beginning is awesome, I could sense his emotion right from his eye and his strong voice. He has mature in terms of acting and their is no wonder many people praise him for his delicate acting. He is really on his peak! I swear, I would definitely watch whatever drama he chose in the future, uri taepyu-nim ~

Why we all fall for him? Here's all the reasons:

*SPOILER ALERT

1. His cheekiness, trying to get Bong Soon's attention
After saving Bong Soon with his life, he tried to get Bong Soon's attention with his incessant whining. Of course his plan works, as Bong Soon really thanked him for risking his life to protect her and that itself lead her to realize her own true feeling.

2. An Min Hyuk’s heart-stopping confession
He knows right away that he started to like this girl, but what can he do when she likes someone else? Sincere confession is the answer!

3. This intimate arm grab

4. Min Hyuk’s agonizing plea.

5. His puppy eyes

6. When Min Hyuk holds Bong Soon so lovingly in his arms.

7. His passionate and romantic kiss scene

8. The millions of times Min Hyuk gazes longingly at Bong Soon

OMG, can't help but falling in love~!

Do you want ice cream?

I don't know myself why I like actors with Park as their surename, Park Bo Gum & Park Hyung Sik ~ maybe because they had some similarities? Don't you think so?

Rich, Handsome, or Kind Man?

If you have a chance to choose, what type of man would you like to choose?

Rich? Handsome? or Kind? Rich and Handsome? Rich and Kind? Handsome and Kind? or ALL?

I believe that most of you girls would probably wanted to have a guy who owns all those traits. Admittedly, I was one of you girls, until I realized that it is impossible to have it ALL. Some of you might have choose a rich man, or maybe a handsome man, rich and kind man and the rest. But let me tell you one thing, being handsome and rich is not correlated with being kind.

Handsome and rich man has their own of lifestyle which is far very different with the lifestyle of kind and wise man. I am not saying that there is totally none, but most of it is like that. Generally, rich and kind man or handsome and kind man are possible to encounter, but a handsome and rich man who is kind is the hardest to meet. So, put back your hopes and just be realistic.

All of those traits is relative for each person. I might say this person is handsome, but other people might not say the same as me. There is no one in this world who can be divided into what type of person because each person would at least has the ability to be the one. For example, if you meet a kind and hardworking guy but he is not that rich, you cannot say he won't be rich forever because one day, with his hardworking attitude, he can also be rich. And when he is quite rich, at least he would take care of how he looks like (which mean, possibly he has such kind of smart dressing). Then it would be possible that you get all of those traits.

But again, I am talking that as an example. What I would like to emphasize is that, no matter what kind of traits you are looking for, you will find someone who is compatible with you. Believe it.

Looking Back to Ten Years Ago

I had free time to finally clean up my drawers - which has lots of memories from elementary school till universities. For a brief moment, I can see myself during those years back and I would say, it's a little bit embarrassing but, for who I am now, is because of those memories and experiences. Thus, past is all in the past, just gonna read it through once, made a note for things I should remember and discard it, as it would only be part of memories - nothing more. Maybe one day, I would look back at it again and laugh freely for how cute I was.

I was born exactly 25 years ago from a loving Mom & Dad. My childhood memories are pretty much more than a happy kid with lots of free time doing some swimming, puzzling, reading, singing and also drawing. My fave song is, "Cintaku padamu...takkan berubah" which I never know who the singer is and the title of the song. In whatever case, Dad, Mom and Cite always said I kept singing that song whenever I got a chance. One day, we moved from Grandma's home to our new home and that's where everything starts to create a history.

For a six years old girl, new school was something a bit scary at first. I still remember Mom brought me for the first time when I entered elementary school. I had no friend at all, and Mom suddenly just dropped me with the other two girl, who happened to be my best friend later on, Sherly Pudjianto and Irena Mulyadi. We always hang out together and pretty much went to school happily. I also had a fun time studying for exams and it turns out I made it to first rank, defeating the smartest student in class, Stefanus Alfindho (is the name correct?). However, even though I got pretty much good grades, love is something new for me. I don't even know what it feels to like someone and such. One day, when the three girls were playing happily, there is this one naughty boy, who took my handkerchief and almost push me out of the staircase. He always picked up on me till I asked Mom, why there is a boy who teased me all the way. Mom said maybe he liked me and tried to gain my attention. That's when I started to pay attention to him. It turns out he became my crush for the next 6 years of elementary school. Crazy right? It still remember we used to exchange text messages as I am not the typical brave girl who can talk directly in front of the guy she likes. I think during the second up to fifth year, I struggled much on study and also on him. As during those times, every girl at school seems to always talk about dating. Why dating was introduced that early, Gosh!

When I entered fifth year, he started to date someone. There is no wonder why, because he's always been my crush and he was nominated to be one of the most popular guy at school. So much alike to dramas. I started to study far better after letting him go, and while I was paying my attention to something else, there's a guy, Mr. B who happened to suddenly confessed his feelings for me. I like him as a friend, but no more than that, thus I rejected him. Maybe that's the first time I got such confession. In the end, he dated someone else during high school and was on the hottest news at that time. I studied much till sixth grade and finally date someone, for the first time in my life. The feeling was mutual, but we broke up not too long as I think I am not ready for any kind of romantic interactions. I was not used to to chocolates, flowers, dolls, attentions and such. I had a long thought about this and would always want to clear up to him, but never got the chance as we still keep contact as childhood friends, still jokes around like we used to had and sometimes hang out together. He is still single up to now, like me. Funny, right? Besides, we lived in the same neighborhood and our parents know each other quite well. I hope he won't think that he is not good enough as it was me who is not ready at that time - not because he did something wrong.

I graduated elementary school with a winning prize of number one rank among the student for final exams. I never expect it was me who got the prize. Even I was shocked to learn that fact. When my name was mentioned, I had totally no idea and it would always be a very nice surprise in my memory about elementary school. Because of this, I always strive for my best on my study, from high school up to university. I am not the smartest, but I am quite diligent thus, allowing me to have good grades.

During junior high school, I was closed to one guy, who is the smartest at school. He would always called my home number and we would chat and do homework together by phone. Even sometimes exchange few texts messages. I admired him and decided one day to tell him what I really felt for him. My feeling was replied as "I like you too as my precious best friend" which sounds to me as a "yes" at that time because I had no experience. I learnt that it was a rejection by time because he dated our junior at school which completely broke my heart. I cried many times, specially when
I knew he wanted to study abroad. I cut my hair very short to get over him and finally I did it. I threw him far away, made a promise to myself to never cry because of a guy, to never fall for someone and to only focus on study.

I entered Senior High School with a totally new environment. The first year was pretty hard for me and I had pretty much funny experience from having some interest on some guys which eventually
I wondered why (I forgot their names). As I tend to move on pretty quickly, things started to change,
I didn't know it back then, but what I had experienced was bullying which thankfully got society attention nowadays. The first year was really hard for me, I went to school without having any friends. Well, I had actually but that doesn't count as close friends for an introvert like me. I grew up with a lot of insecurities at that time. I kept thinking about friendship, whether something was wrong with me, and what I could do is to escape reality by having big interest towards Taiwanese Dramas, K-dramas and Taiwanese Actors. I joined many forums, made some friends online and it happened that my escape way helped me a lot. When I moved to second year, I entered Science Class, worried that I might be on the same class with the one who bullied me, I asked Mom to call school and thank God, I was on different class with him. That year, I joined a group of girls and boys, which is pretty much like any other gangs, gossiped here and there, had some crushes towards this or that boy. There's this one guy on the group who happened to have pretty close friendship with me. I thought there must be something, but it turned out totally nothing - though we lost contact after graduated.

Because I don't feel that I fitted quite well, I drew some distance from that group. I focused on my study, no more gossiping, only focus on study - which eventually lead me to meet my best friend till now and I am blessed that she wanted to be friend with me for who I am, no matter what happened to me in the past and to never judge me for what I did. At first it all started because she sat in front of me - we exchanged our homework, till it happened that she told me her story. She's the first person who opened my heart to trust someone again and I am blessed to have such friendship who supports each other by giving positive thoughts everywhere. We hang out pretty much here and there and everyone always thinks we are couples.

As national exams got closer, we had to study even harder. Some universities came to our school and there is Fortelation event which were held regularly every year. It happened that I had a super big crush with my Senior, who studied Engineering at ITB. It was pretty cute for me to think about it because at that time, there is no texting like nowadays. We used to chat via msn, exchange text messages and the cute one is that, even though I didn't get much reply via messages, I still like him though. I went to Bandung many times during that time, but never ever got a chance to meet up with him ever again. The girls knew I had someone I like and everytime there's guy who happened to get close to me, the girls would say I had someone in mind already. When I had school break for Christmas, I travelled to Xiamen for winter camp study. That is where I met with a super complicated fling. It took few days to get over him thankfully because we are on totally different city. I remember his name was B, a guy I met during winter camp - who is the most absurd person I ever met. The one who did a confession only after 2 hours of meeting during Christmas Eve. Crazy right, but still a funny experience and memory to remember. That was the first time I received a 7 pages of messages for a confession. If I could turn back to that time, I don't know myself what so interesting about me. As I told you before, I grew up with many insecurities, I don't know about makeup at that time so that's the only time when eyebrow pencil hasn't been found. If I looked myself at that time, it's funny how I could go through such time as I am not confident in myself. Maybe I was happy doing my own thing and that's where the positive energy gave certain sparks to others.

National exams took place, there is no such thing as having a crush and such because your future is on the line. I took exams for universities, explored many things I would like to do in the future, which I ended up choosing Singapore to make a fresh new start. In my lifetime, I guess this is the most spectacular time having such freedom, meeting new friends who feels a lot like family. I love this time the most. I feel appreciated and it boosts my self-esteem. I learnt how to join an organization, how to socialize with people and I gained my confidence though it is not a smooth journey - some conflicts with best friend but we ended up as sister & brother for life. I focused on my study for the all the years I was in Singapore. There's only one time I had a major fling for a NUS guy, from Surabaya who performed on a musical and I admired his performance a lot. I decided to add him on Facebook and we talked pretty much a lot. There's one time when I decided to come to another musical performance and it happened that I saw him from a far. I noticed that he saw me but I avoided my eyes on him and that's where I shouldn't have done that! But what can I do when my life is all about study? With my last experience of crying over someone, I had decided not to easily let my guard down. Maybe it's just a fling I would say, a temporary feeling, but the word of love never come to my thought and never been in my consideration. I was happily living my life, I guess.

It's hard for me to meet someone I feel a strong connection with. When I finally came back home and started to work, my life was at constant speed. Since it's been a long time for me, I am not good at picking up certain hints. I would consider all the excuses as pure friendship only, while dating world seems far from me - specially the casual one. I remembered I had a close friend from University.
He dated my friend from university for about 2 years while suddenly he started to text me every day and we would chat till morning, that was because I worked till late. I noticed his intention that time, but I wouldn't want to be with someone at that time. It was around end of 2013, like almost a year since I started to work, I found someone I am curious about. I knew it would not lead to anywhere, it's just that I am curious enough and finally got his name & number. It would always be me who initiate the conversations, as I am curious enough and I don't like that fact. One day when texted me first, I had moved out from my previous client and already got over him - because I know, when I like someone so much, that's when they started to disappear. Nah, with that experience, maybe it would be hard in the future.

Years goes by, pretty much nothing happened during 2014 till November 2015, when I had finally met someone I felt a very strong connection with. We started off pretty much in a good direction, as we met for the first time on a wedding party. I felt as if he is someone too good to be true to happen on me. He asked me to take picture with him together, exchanged our phone number, to meet again the next day before he went back to China. I could see his effort in maintaining the so-called relationship, though long distance, but we hit off pretty well. He would text me almost everyday consistently and asked how my days was genuinely. We would share everything as if we are in some sort of commitment. But, I am always afraid to seriously consider dating. I realized that I had commitment issues, afraid to take a step forward and get hurt, and ended up taking him for granted. At that time, I would never want to officially be in a relationship if I am not sure about it.

Long distance is hard, feelings can change overnight, and when I started to open my heart and accept him for who he is, he suddenly disappeared like a bubble. It took me for about 1,5 years to get over him and I had a long thought that maybe I would never be able to like someone this much, to really feel this strong of connection. During the moving on journey, I would say there are few who comes and go, but never had it been that strong like I used to feel.
I hesitated a lot, I thought a lot, if I thought, the relationship would not go anywhere, I would not even consider entering in the first place. I'd better be single rather than be with someone I had less connection with.

To look back to ten years ago, I realized that I was easily blinded when I was in a little girl. Everything seems to be my first in everything. I would want to try this and that which I ended up embarrassing myself instead and wasting a lot of energy for something not important. And so, when it comes to dating, I believe, if it comes, then it is meant to be. If it's not, it won't come. I won't waste anymore energy for something not worth to wait.

Suzy and Lee Min Ho 2nd Anniversary Party

Lee Min Ho and Suzy reportedly celebrated their 2 year anniversary in an extra special way!

According to an exclusive report by TV Report, last month, the celebrity couple invited several of their closest friends and threw a party in celebration of their 2 years together.

The couple revealed their relationship to the public in March of 2015. Several months later in September and in August of 2016, they were swept up in breakup rumors, however, both sides strongly denied it. It's reported that Lee Min Ho and Suzy are not able to meet often due to their hectic schedules but are still going strong with much love.

I do wonder what will happen to this lovebirds when Lee Min Ho entered military? Will their relationship might still going strong? They are like the best looking couple of all celebrity dating in real life.

What's So Wrong With Watching Korean Dramas?

Okay, let's be real. I not a big fan of Korean Dramas in the past, that's just too mainstream for me. Instead, I was a big fan of Taiwanese Dramas. Who should I blame this addiction to when my cousin is the one who introduced me to the drama world. It's not just my cousin, my Dad also loves Chinese Dramas, specially the historical one. But the thing is...what is wrong with watching Korean/Taiwanese/Mainland Dramas? Everytime I talked with someone for a specific episode, people would stare at me as if I was watching something sinful. Right, let's be real, who doesn't love soap operas and which country has the best drama plot ever?

Goes with the years, I should admit that Korean dramas, specially, has been improving much which can be said, the best soap operas in the world. We can just see that drama team in Korean industry are able to incorporate CGI with such effect that can be compared with International Movies, you don't believe? Just try to watch Goblin (2017) played by Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun. Besides, with such interesting plot like a romantic comedy which depicts the love of human and an alien, like My Love From Another Star starring Jun Ji Hyun and Kim So Hyun,  it is no wonder that Korean Dramas draw much attraction to the viewers because of its refreshing storyline.

If you try to compare with other country soap operas, I would definetely admit that Korean dramas were not like any other DRAMAS, with an obvious plot and ending. With harsh competition among Korean Broadcast Television and scriptwriter, the drama plot usually tends to go in such unexpected twists, though it is only on certain dramas, i.e, W:Two World played by Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo. While most of dramas can still be guessed for the ending, unfortunately, but Korean Drama tends to have a refreshing plot, nice video and cinematography and spectacular ideas for the storyline which make me to stand applause for Korean Drama industry. And, I am positive, the korean industry will keep enhancing the quality of their drama.

PROS:
1. Sometimes, korean dramas can offer much knowledge and values of the storyline
2. It helps you learn about different type of people and how to handle them
3. You get to know about a country, its lifestyle and it’s people
4. You learn a new language(though it’s not perfect but it’s better than not knowing)
5. It helps you learn how to cope up with different situations
6. It makes you cry and laugh and smile and teaches how to love someone when you think nothing is left in this world
7. You find new people(kpop/kdrama fans)and make new friends who love you so much and are always there when you need them

CONS:
1. You develop an unlimited amount of high expectation for your future husband/wife
2. You may be encouraged/convinced to become a pauper in order to attract those rich CEOs
3. You must leave your birth country in order to find your true love
4. You become a mute when it comes to expressing your feelings
5. You're under the belief that your life is more special than anyone else's, which translates to "My life is just like a K-drama romance"

I know it's true that watching too many korean dramas will make you to develop an unlimited amount of high expectation towards love. But for me personally, I watch korean dramas mostly to kill the time because it's entertaining and refreshing. It's been part of my routines and it's such a way to relieve stress. Each person has their own way to relieve stress and relax, but for me, korean drama is something I can't give up. I learnt the world from korean dramas, though I also learnt from books many times when I was in elementary school.

Many people would have said that watching k-dramas might put you under such impression that you won't find your other half because you have such a very high expectation. But hello, don't you see a lot of woman who has boyfriend/husband also watch k-dramas and they are just fine?

We all like rich, handsome CEOs who happens to fall in love with an ordinary girl and that's just a typical k-dramas. But, let's be real, how many young CEOs in the real world who can fall in love with a different social class? Again, we all like k-drama male lead, with such k-fashion, hairstyle, even their skin looks so smooth, but let's be real, what if there is a guy who stand in front of you wearing that kind of k-fashion and wear lipbalm and cosmetics? I would be scared seriously, not because I am prejudice, but I think man who wears cosmetics fits more in the drama land, not in the real world.
In conclusion, I believe that even though we are watching k-dramas, but we could still set our expectation just right and be real with the situation.

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon Thrives in Viewer Rating

The viewer ratings of “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” are growing endlessly!

According to Nielsen Korea, episode 10 gathered 9.668 percent ratings, which is 2.245 percent higher than the previous episode’s ratings, 7.423 percent.

The drama broke JTBC’s all-time high for drama ratings last week, and this week’s ratings outperformed the record-breaking number.

On March 25, the production team for “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” released the latest stills for the upcoming tenth episode. The images show Park Hyung Sik placing Park Bo Young’s hand on his chest while looking at her with a serious and sweet expression. While Park Hyung Sik has an intense look on his face, Park Bo Young seems to look surprised by his actions.

With the developments from the latest episode, many viewers are eager to see whether or not Ahn Min Hyuk (played by Park Hyung Sik) will confess his feelings to Do Bong Soon (played by Park Bo Young) in the upcoming episode.
With this development, there is NO WONDER the rating goes up drastically, because I am also melting because of his sincere gaze...Gosh, daepyu-nim why are you so addictive???
The chemistry between Ahn Min Hyuk and Do Bong Soon is trully good. I really like this male lead character, specially his good sense of humor, LOL, but when he's serious, he can be that sincere!

Things You Learnt Before Turning 25 y.o

There are few things which I end up learnt before turning 25 years old, which is still months to go. This might be a transition period for some of you, which you may or may not realize it. Things are not that hard actually, but sometimes requires time and acceptance:

1. It's OK to skip a night out
If you're sitting on the couch on a Sunday night and dreading even the thought of getting dressed up and meeting people at a bar, or at a party, or whatever it may be that night, don't go. There will be other nights out. You won't miss anything that important and it's perfectly okay to skip a night out. I realized that sometimes it is tiring for a whole week of work and you just want to spend a day being lazy in your room and have your own world and time.

2. It's easy to forget your motivation
Once you start working a job every day, all day, it's easy to get comfortable and forget any aspirations or dreams outside of cashing that paycheck and paying your rent. After working all day, it's so hard to find time to work on your writing or your hobbies or whatever you want to do that doesn't involve a cubicle. I find it hard to practice makeup skill while sometimes with the routines, I feel as if I am not confident enough to pursue what I dream. I know it's hard to find time, but just prioritize a time doing your hobbies. Do not expect to have a fast progress, just slowly but surely.

3. For every new social media you join, delete one you don't want any more
If you need to document every moment on Facebook and Twitter and Instagram and SnapChat and whatever app becomes popular tomorrow, you will spend your life picking filters. Have one or two main social media accounts and get rid of the rest.

4. You should know how to choose your friends wisely, and that it’s not possible to keep them all
From the day we were born until now, we have met a lot of people. Some of them stay with us through the good and the bad, while some just come around when they need something from us. It’s not possible to keep everyone; the chemistry can stray away or you might outgrow each other. That’s okay. Keep the real ones for life and you will have some amazing friendships—even if you can only count how many genuine friends you have with one hand.

5. You should know that your parents are cooler now than they were ten years ago
Back when you’re growing up, you probably used to fight and argue with your parents as much as I did. The relationship we form with our mum and dad in our early twenties is different now. Respect that they are getting older and cherish every moment you’ve got with them while they’re still here because they won’t be around forever.

6. You should know how great it is to leave home and see the world
Turning 25 means that you have probably had the opportunity to leave home or the country and see the world. You probably know by now that it feels amazing to step out of your comfort zone and experience another different culture as a whole. This experience has opened up your mind in so many ways that weren’t possible when you were younger, and you should be proud of it.

7. You should know that money can be a serious issue if not handled properly
Money is one of those thing that was not taught in school, and the only way to learn how to handle it is through experience. Turning 25 means we know how to deal with it, perhaps better than we ever did in our early twenties, and that’s a thing to celebrate.

8. You should know the meaning of responsible drinking, not just for yourself, but also for others
Turning 25 means you know your limits and you’re wise enough to stay at it. Gone are the days where you drink as though it’s the last night of your life. You should understand too that drinking responsibly does not only affect you, but the people around you, something you probably didn’t know at 21.

9. You should know that it’s okay to be single too.
Stop crying your heart out if you’re 25 and still single. You’re still awesome. Think about it, you get to meet people. You get to go out there and experience life without needing to consult anyone. And you get a whole big bed to yourself. It’s important to get to know yourself before someone steps in. That’s an experience in itself, so get out there—the whole world is waiting for you.

10. You should know that heartbreaks are painful, and what to do about them.
It doesn’t have to be about a relationship or that day you broke up with your ex and it took you 365 days to get over it. It could be a loss of friendship or someone dear to you. It could be losing lots of money or having the insurance company deny your claim. Whatever it is, we should have all experience heartbreaks in one way or another—and it is painful. The good thing is, turning 25 means we’ve gathered enough experience to learn from those painful moments. Should anything like that happen again in the future, we know what to do, even if it means lying in bed all day just to get over it.

11. You should know that life is too short to worry all the time.
Turning 25 can be quite a scary thing for some of you. You sit there, a few weeks before your birthday, thinking, “Where have all the years gone?” Let me just say that it has gone by and whether we like it or not, we can’t turn back time. So stop worrying, start loving and appreciating future moments because life is too short for unnecessary things like this.

12. You should know that confidence is sexy.
And it’s sexier than any piece of clothing item you own. Stand up tall, keep your chin up and look straight ahead of you. Your personality shines brighter than the sun.

13. You should know that it’s okay to not know everything.
There is something positive about not knowing everything—you get to learn. And learning never stops. In fact, even though we’re turning 25, the truth is, we don’t know much and there’s so much more to learn. Keep your eyes wide open, listen and try to absorb many new things every day.

14. You should know that you should NOT take things for granted.
We hear about death and loss every day. If you love someone, tell that person your true feelings. Similarly, if you really love your job, give it your hundred percent. Nothing lasts forever and you never know when it’s too late, so don’t ever take anything for granted. Now go tell your mum you appreciate her and all that she’s done!

15. You should know that rejection is the one thing in life that makes you stronger.
If you’re turning 25, it probably means something or someone has rejected you at least once in your life. It hurts, especially if it’s someone you truly love or a gig you’ve been running after since forever, but every rejection makes you a better person. Don’t dwell on it.

Yes, you are about to turn 25 (or may have already) but seriously, being a quarter of a century is really not that bad. You’ve built the base so far, now build the walls of your life and paint it with your favorite colors. Turning 25 means you’re 25 years wiser, but the learning and experiences do not stop here. Appreciate what you’ve got, make memories, live in the moment and forget about the number.

Life is not that bad after all.

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon First Impression

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon starts the airing since February 24, 2017 which is way too long for me to write the first impression. I've been reading the news for this drama, that includes their achievement for high rating right from the start. I was a bit lazy to catch up with a new drama lately due to hectic office hours. Besides, I also have to spare time for working out and doing some research for our yearly trip this year end which takes a lot of my free time.

Park Hyung Sik at High Society
I am just saying this, that I am not a big fan of Park Hyung Sik nor Ji Soo though Park Bo Young is such a great talented actress. The last time I watched Park Hyung Sik, was on High Society which he makes my heart skip a beat when he showed his abs. His character is a rich heir of chaebol group and that suits him best. However, when he starts doing Hwarang, with the theme of historical period during Goryeo with long hair character, I started to lose my interest on him which makes me skip Hwarang. But, damn, he's too HOT in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, even he makes my heart flutter every single episodes. You would definetely like it!

This drama offers a really refreshing type of storyline, like a superhero themed drama which is not only offers a serial murder case like Avengers, but also offers a romantic-comedy type of drama.
Do Bong Soon (played by Park Bo Young) was born with superhuman strength. Her strength is hereditary and passed along only to the women in her family. There is a secret that accompanies her inherited strength, should the women in Bong Soon’s family use their powers for evil and/or personal gain, then they would be punished and cursed for the remainder of their lifetimes. Bong Soon’s ancestors used her super strength to enforce imperial rule against the people in exchange for large sums of money. As punishment for her greed, she lost her powers and lived the rest of her life afflicted with leprosy.

Bong Soon's dream is to create a video game with herself as the main character. She desperately wants to become a willowy and elegant woman, which is the ideal type of her crush, In Guk Doo (played by Ji Soo), a police officer. Thanks to her strength, she gets the job of a bodyguard, to a spoiled rich heir Ahn Min Hyuk (played by Park Hyung Sik), the CEO of a gaming company (Ainsoft). Opposite of Guk Doo, Min Hyuk is an odd man who is imperious and has no regard for rules.

It all starts years back, on a dreary afternoon, high school student Ahn Min Hyuk sits in the back of a bus holding a bouquet of flowers. Suddenly, one of the tires bursts and soon the bus careens down a hill. The driver desperately tries to regain control only to discover that the brakes are broken. He swerves to the right, barely avoiding an oncoming car, but then redirects into the path of two pedestrians standing to the side of the road.

Panicking, he stomps down on the brakes as they barrel forward, then closes his eyes, unable to witness the certain horror to come. However, when he opens his eyes again, the bus has stopped in its tracks, and all remain unharmed. Out the back window, Min Hyuk notices a girl wearing a pink hoodie back away from the rear end of the bus. She turns around without revealing her face, and begins walking up the road. Min Hyuk watches the girl as she leaves, fascinated. And as if sensing his curiosity, she stops in her tracks and turns back slightly toward him, when a breeze catches the hood of her sweater and begins to peel it away from her head. Unfortunately, he can't see the girl's face.
In present, as you all know, Min Hyuk has recently received anonymous threats and even followed by an unknown person who warns him to back off from the list of heirs. When he knows the super power of Bong Soon accidently, he recruited her as his bodyguard with huge amount in exchange. Bong Soon barely refused it, though she is curious as why Ahn Min Hyuk hires a woman as his boduguard instead of a man. Gong Secretary then told her a big secret that Min Hyuk, the CEO is actually doing that to avoid rumor of being gay, which Bong Soon soon to believe that Min Hyuk is truly gay. One day, Bong Soon, Guk Doo, and Min Hyuk get caught up in a serial murder case that breaks in their neighborhood and ends up reluctantly living together for security purposes. A series of misunderstanding occur when Guk Doo mistakes Min Hyuk's affection.
Admittedly, I’m also really curious as to what Min Hyuk is doing with the whole gay thing. We obviously know that he likes women given his slow and affectionate gazes at Bong Soon (even I died with his affectionate gaze), though at this point, he could totally be bi given all the innuendo he’s throwing out there at Gook Doo. (Hawt.) He’s been called gay to his face and hasn’t bothered correcting anyone, so either it’s partially right, or he’s just having fun with the assumption. It could also be that he likes the idea that people can’t figure him out and just enjoys being a mystery. If you think about his life growing up, he lost his mother, had brothers that hated him and one brother that protected him, had a gangster father that doesn’t seem to care, and multiple stepmothers who are more inclined to drink than play parent. Then on top of that, he left home young, became a CEO of a large company, and spends most of his down time alone in a dungeon game room. It makes total sense that he’s a bit…eccentric. I’d be more surprised if he did have normal interactions with people after all that.
I had been worrying that working as a personal bodyguard for monetary gain would fall within the “abusing power” category and that Bong Soon would end up with leprosy or month-long diarrhea.  At first, she is very reluctant to work as Min Hyuk's bodyguard, but seeing how the stalker seems to really serious to kill Min Hyuk, Bong Soon then promised to him that she is going to protect him no matter what happen. And this is the first time when she decides to protect someone simply because it’s right, and she cares that evil doesn’t succeed, If it is like this, I can’t imagine her family’s curse will have a problem with that. But this story then simply reminds Min Hyuk of King Kong and the Princess story, where he identifies himself as the Princess, while Bong Soon as the little King Kong. It is such a very amazing thing for Min Hyuk that a little girl like Bong Soon has so much power. Speechlessly, he remembers the time when Bong Soon was drunk and said that it is not her fault for being strong. She was born with it. And now, with his affection towards her, he agrees to help Bong Soon to use all her power in a good way and would be glad to help her (OMO!)
Gosh, how cute are Bong Soon and Min Hyuk?! I don’t think either of them are really at the warm and mushy feeling stage yet, but their relationship is moving so smoothly and organically that it’s beautiful to watch. Not to mention squeal at. I especially enjoy watching Min Hyuk slowly falling for the mighty pipsqueak that is the awesome Bong Soon. He obviously finds her attractive (given his many “sexy” comments), but I don’t believe that’s what really drew him in. This episode highlighted that she is first and foremost a mystery to him, and he loves solving puzzles. He hired her because she fascinated him, not because he fell in love at first sight. I was really happy to learn that, because otherwise there’d be nowhere for him to go in the relationship if he loved her from the beginning. Now, we get to watch as he slowly softens towards her through the little things, like her cooking reminding him of his mother, or just watching her dance so freely. She’s becoming less of a source of entertainment and more of a person to him.
One thing I really like about this drama is when Min Hyuk marvels at how much strength is condensed in Bong Soon's tiny body, and asks if it’s some kind of super power. Bong Soon reveals that she was born this way: the strength runs in her family, passing down through the female line. Instead of being afraid of her, he accepts her for who she is and ready to help her to use her strength for something good. Which then sounds to me like he is going to help her to fulfill her dreams. A very supportive guy, wish to have one like him ~

Been very curious as how the story will turn out. It is obvious for me though that Bong Soon will surely end up with Min Hyuk (the same as what I also hope). But how is she going to do that when her long time one-sided crush is going to broke up with his girlfriend and realize that the one he really cares about is Bong Soon? Hopefully there must be something which will move Bong Soon's heart towards Min Hyuk. As I really hope a happiness for this gorgeous eccentric guy. Min Hyuk really reminds me of Kim Joo Won from Secret Garden
In terms of acting, there is no need to explain that right when I could just say that Park Hyung Sik and Park Bo Young chemistry are at its best? I never know that Park Hyung Sik's acting has been improving so much that I really like his leading male character here. Though I admit that Ji Soo is so masculine, but Park Hyung Sik takes a toll in my heart and mind right now, specially with his background and attitude towards Bong Soon. It really feels as if he was gazing to me instead every single episode OMG!

Notes: Bong Soon's twin brother is also quite handsome, so dun worry, you gotta be happy watching this drama. I think this drama suits spring perfectly! Gonna be the drama for the first half of the year!

Upcoming Spring Korean Drama: Third Rate My Way

KBS has finalized the next set of dramas in its weeknight lineup, filling up its schedule through June with the previously announced Third-Rate My Way (which recently confirmed leads Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won

Third-Rate My Way is getting the Monday-Tuesday timeslot following ajumma-comeback drama Perfect Wife, which recently kicked off to decent response, albeit low ratings. The drama features characters with unpromising futures living as side characters in their own lives: Kim Ji Won will play a young woman who’d dreamed of being a television presenter, who now works the info desk at a department store, while Park Seo Joon plays an ordinary office worker who was once a hotshot Taekwondo fighter. The show will be a youthful story of growth and romance, which sounds like it could be really uplifting and poignant, especially in the hands of two actors who are well-matched for talent and charisma.
